The first step is to make the frame using a strong hardwood such as beech. The use of such quality wood not only increases the strength of the product but also dramatically reduces the chances of creaking caused by years of continued use. Once the frame has been made the springs and cushioning will be added and once that’s in place, your chosen covering will be professionally attached. The extra detail will then be added in the form of studs and feet (if required).
Once each product has been completed, it will then be put through our rigorous inspection program, ensuring that every little detail is checked for quality. If a product doesn’t match our high standards, we will keep it back until it passes our inspection, so you can rest assured that any item you receive has been given our seal of approval.
To get an idea of the quality of the materials we use, order one of our brochures along with a samples pack containing five samples of your preferred material. It’s all completely free of charge and it will help you get a better idea of what to expect. Alternatively, please feel free to come in to our showroom and see all of the samples first hand.
If you’ve chosen a leather hide, it’s important to take care of it by following a few simple steps. Regular washing and dusting is recommended to keep the leather looking as good as new and if you have a professional leather cleaner, that’s great too!
